9 Months Old

Today my little cutie turned 9 months old. He likes playing with Carter's cars, like this gold hummer. Then he likes to chew on it like everything else. No tooth yet!! Just teething and drooling a lot.
Eric started crawling last Friday. It's so fun to watch him crawl and grunt at the same time.

He loves making funny noises with his mouth. It's really cute. His Mommy and Daddy loves him so much. Nick and Carter adore him. They enjoy playing with Eric.

Thai Water Festival

Sunday morning my family went to the Thai Water Festival in Keller.
Thai Temple It's a tradition to pour water on the statue monks and Buddha for good luck.
When I was done pouring water on the monks. I noticed Aaron taking his shoes off to do the same thing I was. At that moment I felt proud to have a wonderful husband who wanted to be involved with part of my culture. I LOVE him!!
Then we turn around to see Nick taking his shoes off. How sweet was that. I'm going cry. Today was a special day for our family. This was the first time that we all got together with our kids to attend the water festival. My Mom & Dad were so happy.
Because of the cold weather we didn't get to pour water or use the water guns. In a couple of weeks we plan on going to another water festival in Saginaw. Hopefully, the weather will be warmer. The kids are looking forward to using their water guns.

Easter Get-Together

Sunday evening we went to my parents house for dinner. Mom made homemade stew. It was yummy to my tummy. Not to brag but my Mom is a great cook. We then had a Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.
Nick and Carter found an egg at the same time. Nick was sweet to give it to his little brother.
Carter needed some help from his Daddy. He wanted that yellow egg before anyone got to it.
During the Easter Egg Hunt Eric was inside the house sleeping. All of our boys had a fun Easter day. I love spending time with family. We had a awesome day.

Easter Morning

Eric was awake before his brother. I just love this picture of him.
Nick and Carter finally woke up to get their Easter gift. They both got a super soaker water gun, chalks for drawing on the sidewalk and some candies.

Birthday Parties

Saturday afternoon we went to Nicholas' friend birthday party in Southlake. It was held in a indoor soccer arena. They boys played soccer for a while against the parents. Aaron was worn out. I got lucky and sat down with Eric to watch the game. The boys then later played dodge ball. Carter had fun playing with his friend Zane(Shaun's little brother) on the field. Nicholas is wearing a white shirt standing next to Shaun.
After the party we rushed to Saginaw for Emily's birthday party. I don't think she likes chocolate. We had good time at the party.
Emily looks so cute in her dress. She is going to love shopping for clothes.

more pics from the party

Awwww, that so sweet!! Emily is sharing her Elmo with Carter. All the kids had fun playing with the hut/tunnel.
Caiden with his Nana.
Eric with his Grandpa Hayes. Uncle Jason has a new earring.

Cute pics

Sweet little Caiden. He is such a good baby. The reason why I like this picture? Emily and Eric look adorable chewing on their finger. Michael and Mom? I don't think they realize I was taking a picture. The kids are cute!

Race for the Cure

On Saturday, April 7, 2007 I woke up at 5:45am to attend the race for the cure. Joanie, my sister Susan and I finished the 5K walk/run in 1hr and 9 minutes. We probably could have finished earlier if we did some jogging. As we were finishing the race it start to snow. We didn't have a camera but my sister asked if I had my cell phone. This picture turned out pretty good for a phone camera. This was my second time to attend the Susan G. Komen race. They have this event every year in downtown Ft Worth. The weather was very COLD!! It was worth it and we felt good as we made it to the finish line.

Liberty Park

Carter and his buddy Luke. This has got to be one of my favorite parks. The landscape is beautiful. My friend Huong loves holding Eric. I know Aaron and Nick would enjoy this park. Carter seems too.

The weather was nice and cool.

Egg Hunt at Buffalo Ridge Park

Tuesday afternoon was HOT!!!! Our ward from church met with another ward and had a Easter Egg Hunt. We had a a good turn out and the kids had fun.
Carter with his friend Emily (or girlfriend as Nick would say to tease Carter) Pre-hunt. Hey, Emily. Would you like to go hunt some eggs?

I spy a blue egg. I spy a purple egg.
Whew. That was hard work. I wonder where Emily went.

Hi Emily. Where is your basket? Don't you ever smile? She really does have a lovely smile when she does smile. Emily is a little shy but she sure is pretty.

Preschool Easter Egg Hunt

Miss Becki and the kids are coming outside for the egg hunt. I was asked to scatterd the eggs in the yard. I guess I threw them a little to hard because some of them broke opened and candies came out. I had FUN!! The hunt begins.
Then it ends. The kids couldn't wait to eat their candies.
We had some extra eggs. Miss Becki gave them to Eric. This doesn't taste like chocolate, but I like chewing on it.
Ewwww grass!!
Carter's preschool friends.

Super Suppers

Last Friday night I went with some of my friends to a taste test at Super Suppers. We were able to taste food from April's menu. We thought it was neat to be able to try the food before purchasing it. That evening they were offering 1/2 entree orders at a discount. The best part was, it was already assemble and ready to take home. I ended up buying 3 different entrees. I have them in my freezer until I'm ready to cook it. We had the lasagna on Saturday. Aaron liked it a lot. Super Suppers offer walk in days, pick up orders and grab n go. They have a new menu every month. It was fun. I hope Super Suppers does the taste test again. We plan on going back if they do. Then afterwards will go see a chick flick. Sounds like a fun evening. Check out their website www.supersuppers.com.
