I'm Back!!!!

The kids are in bed. Now I can update the blog that has been neglected for some time. I've been really busy and a lot has happened. The boys finished school last week. Then Friday my Dad was admitted to the hospital. It's been a long hard weekend. I am very grateful to have a wonderful husband that is always here to support me. Aaron and our friend Bob was able to go to the hospital to give my Dad a blessing. The next day my Dad was feeling better. Saturday I called and left a message with my friend Mia about what had happened. As soon as she got the message she came straight to my house. We talked and she offered to bring dinner the next day for us since I was up at the hospital most of the day. My boys were sick with a fever and she still wanted to take care of them. I'm so lucky to have a friend like her. Sunday the boys received a blessing because they still weren't feeling that great. Their fever is gone but they still have a sore throat. I plan on taking them to the doctor Tuesday. My Dad was released from the hospital this morning but will go back later this week for surgery. Please keep him in your prayers.

Aaron's Grandparents were in town and we were not able to visit with them. We were sad to find out that they are planning on leaving Tuesday. We were hoping to see them later this coming weekend. I told Aaron to go to Paris this evening to visit with them before they left. I wish the boys and I could have went with him. But we didn't want anyone getting sick from our boys. I talked to Aaron and he was really glad that he went up to Paris tonight. Irv was happy to see him but also miss seeing the boys. Hopefully, we can try to make a trip to California next summer.

I figured that if I updated this blog it would distract me from worrying about other things for a while. I have so many pictures to post for May. Hope you enjoy reading the blog because it may be a while before I post again.

Last Day of School

Was Thursday May the 24th. I was at Nick's school that morning to help with some of the other Mom's in class to serve breakfast for Mrs. Telschow and the kids. We had so much food that we could have fed another class. The kids also had a short program for their teacher. Madeline's Mom sang the song "The Rose". (which is Mrs. Telschow favorite song) Anyways, the kids would bring different items to Mrs. Telschow and put it in her basket as the song was being sung. At the very end Nicholas came up to her and handed her a single rose and gave her a hug. It was so SWEET!! I have it on video. My Dad made me a copy to put it on a DVD . I later gave Mrs. Telschow the DVd and on the cover is this picture below. She has been a great teacher. Nick completed 2nd grade and will soon be a 3rd grader in August. Carter had his Preschool party at Let's Jump on Wednesday. Eric was more fascinated with playing with the wheels on his strollers. He was being a good boy at the party.

Carter is about to go in th Spongebob bounce house. He really had fun in this one.
Okay, he didn't want to go down this long slide until his friend Parker gave him a little push down. After that he kept going down the slide all by himself.
See he did it!!!
This is a really cool tunnel. Eric and I followed him through this obstacle on the sideline.
This is a short slide. Carter went down with his teacher Miss Becki. Miss Becki is a awesome teacher and a good friend of mine. Carter loves being in her class. He is going back to Miss Becki preschool in September. Then next year Fall of 2008 he will start Kindergarten.

Our Weekend in Oklahoma

First we got in the car with the boys and drove 2 hours to Oklahoma. Eric slept most of time. I love watching him sleep. He's adorable!!! Nick and Carter played with their gameboys and watched a movie during the drive. We finally arrived at the Lakeside Lodge. Isn't it pretty? Thanks to Kelly for arranging the Hayes family vacation.
The boys couldn't wait to play near the pond.
Here's all the kids having fun in the sand.
Looks like Nick and Corgan are digging for something.
The next morning Aaron took the boys and Corgan on a canoe ride.

More Fun Pics From Oklahoma

Then Travis wanted to go on a canoe ride so they all went again!! The boys loved it. Okay, this was really funny. The paddle boat didn't go very far. You had to be there to know what I mean. You can't see Carter because he is behind Nicholas. Corgan was being such a good boy. Cute little guy.
Eric kept putting sand/rocks in his mouth. He didn't like it when I took them out of his mouth. Thanks to Gramma Hayes for bring the buckets and shovels for the grandkids to play with.
Cute! I bet these boys would enjoy going to the beach.
Nick couldn't wait to get wet in the water. He wanted to test out his life jacket.
The kid next door came over to show us his pet snake. Kelly was brave enough to wrap that snake around her neck. You go girl!! I'll just stay far, far away from you. My boys were also brave to pet the snake. Why not, Gramma did.
On our last night Aaron and the boys made some smores for the family. Aaron is such a good Dad. He loves spending time with the boys. And I love watching it.

Turner Falls

Is a fun place to go. The view is pretty. The weather was beautiful. We had a fun time as a family. Aaron and I want to take the boys to the Grand Canyon someday.
Nick and Carter trying to figure out how to use the telescope.
The water was nice and cold.
Exploring was exciting.

Turner Falls Is A Fun Place To Go

We had so much fun at Turner Falls. We like to go back and camp there for a night. Sweet little Eric sitting in the water.
Nicholas had fun swimming in the COLD water.
Family picture. We had a great time at the lodge and especially hanging out with the family. We did miss Jason and Gaylen.

Father & Son Campout

Was on May the 11th. Our church does this every year and this was the first time that Aaron took the boys. They had a blast!!! The campsite had electricity, bathrooms and showers. Now that sounds like a place where I would go camping. The boys enjoyed playing with their friends. Here is one of the guys cooking breakfast.
This is the first time for the boys to go camping and they loved sleeping in the tent. Sweet dreams little boys!
Here's their tent. Isn't this place nice?
Eric likes to chew and put things in his mouth. He has two teeth and is working on a third.
He loves to play with his ABC's magnets and farm animals on the fridge.
Hey Carter are you hungry? I'm hungry. What sounds good to eat? Hmmmm.....
Oh, I think I found something yummy!!

Mother's Day Luncheon

Today Carter's preschool class prepared a program, served lunch and made cute crafts for their Mom's. They sang a couple of songs. All the Mother's enjoyed being pampered. We had mini pizza's and fruit kabob for lunch.
Carter was so sweet to serve me a yummy dessert.
The class told a story about Mother's.
This is my gift from Carter. Isn't it cute? They also made a frame picture with their footprints on it along with a cute poem. Carter kept giving me lots of hugs during the luncheon. He did a great job! I love him so much.

Nerf Tag

Aaron and I had fun playing Nerf Tag with the boys. They're getting ready to attack. Yikes!! The boys ran for cover when they saw their father coming after them.
Mommie are you hiding from my big brothers? Can I play too?
I found it. Now what do I do with it?

Pictures from Chili's

After the baptism we all went to Chili's for lunch. Here are some pictures that my Dad took with his camera. Family
Cute picture. It's usually my Mom who has her eyes close when we take a picture of her.
Nicholas was glad that his cousins were able to come celebrate his special day.

Aaron you did a great job baptizing our son. I love your smile.
