Cousin Day

Alex and Thomas came over to our house to play with the boys. Carter and Nick love spending time with them. As Eric gets older and more familiar with his cousins, I'm sure he will love being around them too. We try to get the kids together at least once or twice a week. The boys and their older cousins have developed a close bond.

The talented artists.
Let's see how fast we can spend the wheel. Burn rubber!!!

On your mark...Get set...Go!!! Wait, Nick is riding his bike instead of running.

Carter and Alex had fun playing games and reading books.

Nick and Thomas played video games and made something with the Legos.

Eric was eating and sleeping most of the day :)

Our Weekend

On Saturday the boys' Grandparents came to watch them play soccer. PJ, Thomas and Susan were also there to help us cheer for the boys. It was nice to have both familes attend the games. Nicholas scored a GOAL!!!! Aaron and I were so proud of him. He played really well. Carter is still a little shy playing soccer :) Nick and Carter were so excited to have Gramma & Grandpa Hayes stay the night. It was a very nice visit.
On Sunday, we went to Jason's place for the family gathering. Carter dressed up as the Cars' Pit Crew and Nick was Army Commando Squad. The boys had fun playing in Jason's backyard. Corgan would've enjoyed it too, but he was sick and wasn't able to come. We missed the little guy. Hope he feels better soon!

Emily looked adorable as a cabbage patch cheerleader. Her Mom did a great job in making the ponytails. Maybe, will get to see more cute headbands on Emily :)

Pumpkin Patch

Today was an exciting day. Momma and Daddy took me to this place called a "Pumpkin Patch". There was a lot of pumpkins there and fun things to do. Hey, is there any candy in this pot? It might be a comfortable spot to take a snooze. If you look real close you can see my Momma's hand holding me up.

Are my brothers in trouble? If so, why are they smiling? Are the bars to keep them in, or to keep us out?
Chuga chuga chuga chuga choo-choo. Come on Dad, crack a smile. You know you love it here!

Is that you Uncle Michael? I am pretty sure it is my Uncle Michael. It is kinda hard to tell with my eyes closed.

more pumpkin patch

Here are "The Boys". Corgan was so nice to let Eric hold his pumpkin.
The Sheriff gave me the "thumbs up" when I asked if I could have one of his pumpkins.

No, too orange. No, too big. No, too little. No, too round. No, missing the stem. Momma, can I pick more than one?

We're going on a hayride. Yippee!! Is Gramma a) mid-sneeze, b) getting car(tractor) sick, c) wishing her glasses were tinted, or d) wishing the ride was air-conditioned...

Bumpity bump-bump. Dusty dusty, cough sneeze. Wheeeeeeee!!!!. Can we go again???

some more pumpkin patch

Here is Gramma-Nana with her Grandsons. What a handsome bunch.
I tried to find Carter's old newborn hat for Eric to wear, but it is in a storage container somewhere. I bought a new hat at Target on the way to the pumpkin patch. Do you think it is a little large? Don't believe the label when it says, "One size fits all".
Here is Gramma Hayes with Eric. He has grown some since she last held him.

Group Shot. Where is Gramma? Where is Aaron?

A Nice Visit

This morning the boys and I went shopping with my Mom. We went to the new JC Penney's store at the Alliance Center which is not far from the house. The store was nice but Carter didn't care for it. He wanted to go home (he is just like Aaron). Later that afternoon Michael Tom came over to our house for a visit. He and Carter read some books together. Michael Tom brought some of his jewelry pieces with him and we talked about pricing. The quality of his work is excellent and after some encouragement he raised his prices to a reasonable level. I thought he wasn't charging enough for the work and effort he puts into each piece.

Swinging

The kids from Preschool get to swing before class starts. The girl next to Carter is Brittany. She carpools with us. She is a sweet little girl. I wonder if Carter will have this many girls hanging around him when he is a teenager. Oh, goodness!!! Posted by Picasa

Colorful Links....

Mom bought me these really cool links. They are different colors and patterns. I wore a plain white and black onesie so you could really see how many colored links I have.

Dad says I should be a model. This is what I call my "3:40" pose.

Have you noticed the caption on my shirt? It is true ya know.

My Blankie

The ladies from Relief Society came over to our house this morning for a nice visit. They gave me this cool baby blanket. Mrs. Mendoza has been making the blankets for all the newborns in our ward. Isn't she the sweetest lady. Are you looking at my blanket?
Do you like it?
Thanks, I like it too!

Brothers Forever

Hey guys can you help me out? I'm leaning to the right.

WOW!! That star is smiling at me. Now its flashing lights and making music. Oh, yeah! This is fun stuff. I wiggled and smiled at the star for ten minutes. Mommy was happy.

Carter stayed home today from Preschool. He got the crud that Nicholas had. We hope that will be the end of it. Carter and I played with his LeapFrog ABC's and My First LeapPad. Then he took a long nap with Eric.

It was a nice day to go outside and ride our bikes. We had a good time.

Eric Time

I wish Mom wouldn't sneak up on me like that. She could give a guy a little notice before she says "Boo!".
It's Bumbo time!!! I wish I had a real microphone.

My brother is extremely helpful and right there to help me if I have any trouble.

MMNFfffhg. I hate this "tummy-time" thing. I wish Carter would help me up.

That "tummy time" can sure wear a fellow out. I like "nap time" much better.
